(August 2018)

For the third year in a row, Philip Rosenau Co., Inc. Community Outreach participated in the Bucks County Opportunity Council (BCOC)’s Backpack Program.  BCOC's unique Back-To-School sponsorship program matches caring people with individual children in need. They work with hundreds of families who struggle with basic needs, like having enough money for food, utilities, and medications.

When summer rolls around, and school supply lists hang on the refrigerator, parents wonder how they'll provide their children with the tools they need to have a successful school year. With the help of our employees and our supplier partners, we donated fully supplied back packs as well as Clorox Disinfectant Wipes, Gojo Purell Hand Sanitizer and Kimberly Clark Facial Tissue. In addition to the back packs we donated gift cards from Hair Cuttery, Payless Shoes, Wal-Mart, TJ Maxx and Target so that each child is completely ready for the first day of the school year.

Bucks County Opportunity Council (BCOC) promotes economic self-sufficiency. You can find out more ways to help their organization on their website, http://www.bcoc.org/
